"The city was burning, the castle sacked. The last screams of the castle defenders echoed across the countryside as they were executed. He stepped over the fallen body of the defeated mage, approaching the magick case that had long protected the ancient tome. Easily defusing the magick locks meant to thwart a lesser sorcerer, he removed the book from it's storage and placed it on a nearby table. A strange glow began to emanate from the book as it sensed that someone had removed it from it's arcane prison. As he opened the book his thoughts shifted to the coming conquest of the Musik Realm.
